A5 Wagyu on the Grill, Korean Style
Korean cuisine — above all yakiniku, Korean-style barbecue — is a firm favorite in Japan.
In Tokyo's Nakano, a yakiniku restaurant founded in 1987 describes itself as the area's first halal yakiniku restaurant, serving A5 wagyu described as halal-certified. An English menu is available, and the semi-private room is described as usable as a prayer space when seats are open. Registered features include halal meat and seasonings, halal kitchenware and tableware, pork-free dishes and a prayer space.
The BBQ and Japanese pages are also worth a look. Use the Halal Gourmet Japan map to combine restaurants and prayer places along your route.
