A Rugged Coast and a Temple in the Cedars
Fukui brings together very different landscapes: the sheer cliffs along the Tojinbo coast, Eiheiji temple surrounded by tall cedars, and inland areas where large numbers of dinosaur fossils have been found. Facing the Sea of Japan, its coastline changes character with the seasons.
The Fukui page on Halal Gourmet Japan features prayer places such as Fukui Masujid, with qibla direction marked and wudu facilities available, so you can stop by as you travel through the prefecture.
When visiting Fukui, check the map for facilities near your route and plan your trip together with the other prefectures of the Hokuriku region.
