Ehime offers both the sea and the city: the Shimanami Kaido linking the islands of the Seto Inland Sea by bridge, Matsuyama Castle with its surviving keep, and Dogo Onsen, one of the oldest hot springs in the country. Its mild climate has also made it a well-known citrus-growing region.
