The Higashiyama Kanko Hotel (Geibi Rest House East Wing) is located a 3-minute walk from the Geibikei Riverboat Boarding Pier. Geibikei, a designated Place of Scenic Beauty and one of Japan’s Top 100 Views, is located in southern Iwate Prefecture. It is the only place in Japan where you can experience a round-trip boat ride powered by human strength. The scenery, with the gorge flanking both sides, is truly breathtaking. Our hotel is equipped with a prayer room and always has prayer mats available (limited quantity). In addition to meals that do not contain pork or alcohol, we also serve dishes prepared with Halal-certified seasonings.
