Located in the busy Shijo-Kawaramachi district of Kyoto, this quiet restaurant is surrounded by plants and has a beautiful atrium. At all hours, the menu is structured so that both vegan and non-vegan guests can gather around the same table. Breakfast includes waffles made with Japanese rice and fresh smoothies. We recommend the Hyssop Breakfast Plate ¥2,500, which includes waffles, salad, fruit, granola, and a drink. Our lunch signature is the Herbal Lunch Plate. It is a hearty one-plate dish made up of eight different plant-based items, all prepared in a well-balanced manner using a variety of cooking methods so that you can fully enjoy the delicious taste of vegetables and grains. Other set menus such as pasta are also available. For dinner, there is a course menu (from ¥7,000) that is an arrangement of Japanese vegan cuisine called Shojin Ryori, and an a la carte menu for casual use is also available. There is also an extensive beverage menu that can only be enjoyed here, including wines carefully selected by a sommelier and cocktails made with herbs and flowers. In addition, free wi-fi is available during café hours, offering vegan sweets arranged with Taiwanese bean flour and plate parfaits with limited-time-only fruits, making it the perfect place to take a break from sightseeing. Directions to the restaurant: With the facility in front of you, take the elevator on your left to the 4th floor. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, you can use this service. 【One drink free for those who order Muslim-Friendly Menu】
